School Districts Served

With the support of our amazing funders, we are currently able to service 3 school districts. This makes our programs available to thousands of students and teachers.

21st Century Community Learning Center Funding
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant funds high quality after school programs in elementary and middle schools.  The NMSU STEM Outreach Center provides 21st CCLC sites in Las Cruces and Gadsden with SEMAA, DiMA, Reader’s Theater, COUNT, Tower Gardens and a number of electives. All of the programs work together to increase interest, engagement in, and understanding of, STEM fields.  All while working to increase reading skills, parental/family involvement (workshops), promote physical education and obesity prevention, and offer professional development for participating teachers.

Arizona Public Service Funding

Arizona Public Service, the NMSU STEM Outreach Center, and Farmington Public Schools have formed a dynamic collaboration that has given almost 500 students a high quality after school program that emphasizes the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.

Farmington We have partnered with the 10 elementary schools and 4 middle schools  in Farmington in order to provide students with the DiMA and COUNT programs, and teachers with professional development.
